These oversized soft, sheer muslin scarves are a perfect addition to your summer wardrobe. I use them as a scarf and a shawl but they can be used as a wrap dress or sarong as well. They have a clean finish with a rolled hem so all the focus is on the beautiful indigo designs.
These scarves have been hand dyed in my studio with Indigo. Indigo is a natural plant dye that has been around for 1000's of years and is truly magic! You can read more about it on my blog here. I use Shibori style resist dyeing to create unique, one-of-a-kind patterns within the indigo dye.
This series "Waves" evokes the building of the waves from the deep blue waters, forming its rounded crest and then dissipating with relief on the sandy beach.
